Amanda Homa is the lead consultant, project developer, and program expert behind Parakeet. Her incredible attention to detail, dedication to her clients, and wealth of program knowledge produce faster project turn-around times and high-accuracy energy savings estimates.
When IOU energy efficiency programs first launched, they were easy to navigate. But with each year, these programs become more complex. Parakeet is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve. Projects themselves have become more complex as onsite generation becomes more commonplace. Amanda has been recognized as an expert in analyzing project feasibility and determining the best path forward. At times when contractors were ready to give up on such projects, Amanda has been able to step in to successfully develop them and get them approved for OBF loans and incentives.
While Parakeet handles projects in all non-residential customer sectors, we particularly love working with municipalities and school districts to help these tight-budget customers benefit from energy upgrades!
